Now that baseball is almost underway, we are all going to experience watching games with no fans in the stands (maybe some cardboard cutouts).
But that doesn’t mean the ambiance is all gone.
Teams will be piping in “fan audio” at various points during the game. So a hometown hit or homerun will still bring an ovation.

Cheers may be enhanced and while there won’t be literal “boos”, the cheering will be dampened.
So essentially, bad news at any Astros game.
