PEORIA, Ill. (25 News) – Two people were taken to a hospital after a reported rollover near the Peoria County side of the Pekin Bridge Friday.
The Peoria Emergency Communications Center said US 24 is closed west of Route 9. Motorists can expect that area to be closed for a while.
A photo submitted to 25 News from the scene shows what appears to be a dry bulk tanker or a pneumatic tank trailer along with the truck on its side.
