CHILLICOTHE, Ill. – A 56-year-old woman is in custody following a drug raid in Chillicothe on Tuesday.
Chillicothe Police detectives executed a residential search warrant in the 1700 block of N. Benedict Street. The search was the result of an investigation into the illegal sale of methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
Police arrested Tammy Hoover on multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. She also faces a charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.
“All Chillicothe PD members involved did an excellent job bringing this situation to a safe resolution, and holding this individual accountable for her actions,” the police department said in a Facebook post.
