PEORIA, Ill. – A 19-year-old woman was injured after multiple shots were reportedly fired Sunday night in South Peoria.
Police say 25 rounds were fired in total from two ShotSpotter alerts in the area of Fremont and Ligonier just after 7:15 P.M.
The victim was found in the area outside a residence with a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have no suspects at this time.
