PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria firefighters pulled one person from their vehicle Sunday evening following a rollover crash.
The accident happened around 7:30 pm, at the intersection of Malone and Laramie. Crews arrived to find the vehicle on its side with one person trapped inside.
Firefighters used extrication tools, including cutting the roof off the vehicle while also stabilizing it, to free the person. They were taken by Advanced Medical Transport to a hospital for treatment.
The patient’s condition was not available.
