WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – A northern Illinois man has been arrested after allegedly trying to meet up with a minor in Woodford County.
The Woodford County Sheriff’s Office says Brian Rafferty was taken into custody Monday in Germantown Hills by the unit’s Predator Apprehension Team.
Deputies say Rafferty allegedly traveled to the area to meet up with who he believed was a 15-year-old girl.
Jail records indicate he is charged with Grooming and Indecent Solicitation of a Child.
The sheriff’s office notes Rafferty is the 20th arrest by the Predator Apprehension Team in the past six months.
