BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Three Peoria teenagers were arrested in McLean County early Wednesday morning after allegedly stealing a vehicle.
Bloomington Police says just after 1:15 A.M., officers responded to the area of Hershey and Hamilton Road on reports of subjects breaking into vehicles.
Police say the teenagers, ages 18, 15, and 14, reportedly fled on foot after officers arrived. The trio were arrested soon after for criminal trespassing and theft from motor vehicles.
A stolen vehicle was also reportedly at the scene.
Bloomington Police says the incident is a reminder to people to stay up to date on recommended service and security updates, lock your vehicle, remove valuables from your vehicle, and never leave your keys inside the vehicle.
