Nancy: Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

I would consider myself to be an optimist. I try to find joy everyday and see the good in most things .. even in the worst scenarios. But now, I find THIS. And I don’t like it.

According to a new study, being optimistic can be BAD for your health.  Apparently, it’s because positive people aren’t as good at coping when something bad happens (I disagree), so they get flooded with the stress hormone cortisol, and that can take a serious health toll. Pessimists, on the other hand, were able to process and handle the bad news.

Meh .. I’m still going to choose to be optimistic. And you?
