Nancy: Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

I would consider myself to be an optimist. I try to find joy everyday and see the good in most things .. even in the worst scenarios. But now, I find THIS. And I don’t like it.

According to a new study, being optimistic can be BAD for your health.  Apparently, it’s because positive people aren’t as good at coping when something bad happens (I disagree), so they get flooded with the stress hormone cortisol, and that can take a serious health toll. Pessimists, on the other hand, were able to process and handle the bad news.

Meh .. I’m still going to choose to be optimistic. And you?

What do oysters, almonds and kiwi have in common? John: Yay Illinois…!! It’s a little surprising but a new survey finds that 38% of people do THIS on a regular basis. What is THIS? John: Too Rich For My Blood… In the history of the world, there have only been 15 of these. What are they? QI: This is true for nearly 80% of football fans. What is it?
