John: It’s That Time Of Year…

Tradition.  It’s what the holiday season is all about.  The affirmation of faith, family and friendship that makes life worth living.  Some of our traditions are a bit quirky, but so are our families so I say go for it.  Check out this article about the odd ways people celebrate…  When the kids were little our tradition was to go out to Tanners and cut down a fresh tree.  We also used to play charades on Christmas Eve before going to midnight mass.  Lots of fun and many great memories, but as I get older, I like our new traditions even more.  Go out to a big breakfast before we pick a tree out at Nena Hardware and then blow off the charades on Christmas Eve and hit the sack early…

Merry Christmas!
