PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley University alumna Dr. Lillian Glass will return to campus next week for a film festival and presentations focused on communication, body language and personal reinvention.
Glass, a 1974 Bradley graduate, is an author, filmmaker and communication and body language expert. Her visit will include three events Oct. 7 and 8.
The visit begins Wednesday at 7 p.m. with a screening of “Reinventing Rosalee” at the David Horowitz Auditorium in Bradley’s Global Communications Center. The film tells the story of Glass’ mother, Rosalee Glass, a Holocaust survivor who was imprisoned in a Russian gulag during World War II and later began an acting career in her 80s.
Glass will speak with Bradley students Thursday afternoon about body language and communication, including voice, negotiation and recognizing deceptive behavior.
She will then present “Reinventing Yourself” from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Peplow Pavilion in the Hayden-Clark Alumni Center. The presentation, hosted through Bradley’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, will focus on embracing change and building confidence later in life.
The OLLI presentation is free and open to the public. Registration information is available through Bradley University.
