PEORIA, Ill. – No foul play is suspected in the death of a Woodford County Jail detainee from last week.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood announced autopsy results on 45-year-old Jason Rockhold on Monday, who died early last Thursday morning.
Rockhold was a former softball coach accused of sexually harassing one of his former players, and faced various counts of sexual assault in Tazewell and Woodford Counties.
Harwood says there was no forensic evidence of blunt force trauma, nor evidence of self-harm, but further studies are pending.
Rockhold was found unresponsive and not breathing in his jail cell.
