Japan’s August core consumer prices rise 1.7% yr/yr

TOKYO, Sept 18 (Reuters) – ​Japan’s ‌core consumer prices ‌in ​August ⁠rose 1.7% ⁠from a year earlier, ​data ⁠showed ⁠on ​Friday.

The increase ​compared with ‌a median market ⁠forecast for a ⁠1.8% ‌rise.
