PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. (25 News) – The no-stalking case against the former Creve Coeur deputy police chief has been continued for two weeks.
Former deputy police chief Dan Nelson represented himself while the other party had an attorney.
Both agreed for a continuance to have time for a fully negotiated agreement.
Both will appear in court at 9 a.m. Oct. 1, or sooner if an agreement is reached.
The person who filed the no stalking order against Nelson also filed an order of protection against former Creve Coeur police chief Justin Egan.
Egan and Nelson, along with officer Dustin Ward, resigned from the police department.
