WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – A Eureka man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Tuesday in Woodford County.
Coroner Tim Ruestman says 73-year-old Stephen Barker suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The crash occurred in the area of US Route 24 and 1700 East Road in rural Eureka.
Barker was westbound on Route 24 when he collided with a semi-tractor trailer in the westbound lane.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department and Coroner’s Office.
