America’s 250th Birthday celebration is almost here, and 93.3 The Drive is ready to celebrate with you all weekend long!
🚨 Important Concert Update: According to Peoria Park District and RiverFront Events officials, after consulting with weather and public safety officials and following their recommendation, the difficult decision was made to cancel Parrots of the Caribbean, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 2, due to the forecasted extreme heat.
Officials say the safety of guests, performers, vendors, and staff is their top priority.
If you purchased tickets, officials say you will automatically receive a full refund through your original point of purchase within 7–10 business days. No action is required.
While Thursday’s concert won’t take place, there’s still plenty to look forward to this holiday weekend.
On Friday, July 3, head to the Peoria RiverFront for Tennessee Whiskey featuring Taylor Bruninga and the Bandits. Enjoy an evening of live music celebrating the songs of Chris Stapleton as you kick off your Independence Day weekend with friends and family.
Then on Saturday, July 4, join 93.3 The Drive on the East Peoria Riverfront for Choose Greater Peoria Red, White & BOOM! presented by i3 Broadband.
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with one of the nation’s largest Fourth of July fireworks displays, live entertainment, delicious food, family activities, and an unforgettable evening along the river.
If you’re planning to attend, be sure to arrive early. New security checkpoints will be in place this year, and only clear bags will be permitted in the Riverfront Viewing Area. Wagons, strollers, and coolers are still welcome.
John and Nancy may have had to change their Thursday night plans, but they’ll be looking forward to celebrating an incredible Fourth of July weekend with you!
