PEORIA, Ill. – A weekend stabbing in Peoria has resulted in the arrest of a woman.
Peoria police say officers responded to the area of the 1000 block of NE Perry around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, they found a 59-year old man with an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to a hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect, identified as Clarissa Davs, 42, was later found about a block away and was taken into custody without incident.
Davis was transported to the Peoria County Jail on a charge of aggravated battery.
