PEORIA, Ill. – The trio of men charged with murder in connection were back in court Thursday morning.
25 News reports 20-year-old Christopher Adams, 18-year-old Kemareon Bell, and 17-year-old Lamar Cagle all pleaded not guilty.
All three are charged with First Degree Murder in the June 20th shooting death of 20-year-old Teron Scott.
Scott was found dead with a gunshot wound in a crashed vehicle at Martin Luther King Park in South Peoria.
Adams is accused of driving the vehicle that chased down and shot at the vehicle Scott was in, with Bell and Cagle allegedly passengers in the vehicle.
The next hearing for all three will be August 19th.
