PEORIA, Ill. – A 17-year-old has been arrested after allegedly firing a weapon in Peoria Tuesday night.
Officers responded to the area of Glenwood and Ayres just before 11:30 P.M. after reports that an individual was shot at. A 20-year-old man told police he was shot at while driving in the area.
There were no injuries.
Officers then spotted a male subject matching the description of the suspect enter a vehicle and drive away, taking the 17-year-old into custody.
The teenager was arrested for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, and Armed Robbery, and was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
