“I need a vacation.”
I literally said those words this morning. And apparently I’m not alone.
According to a new survey, the average American says “I need a vacation” about THREE TIMES a week.
Ugh. That’s pretty bad, in my opinion. And the reason I say that is because we’re all working and stressing too much, either because we choose to or we have to because of the demands placed on us by employers and/or families, etc. In the survey, here are the top reasons we all need a vacation:
1. Stress at work.
2. Feeling tired.
3. Parenting or family stress.
4. A bad commute.
5. Sleeping through your alarm.
6. Bad weather.
7. A cold or other minor sickness.
8. Relationship problems.
9. Getting into an argument with a coworker.
10. Drama with friends.
Occasionally, I’ll jump into fantasy-land- mode and dream about my next vacation. I’m not sure exactly where I’d go but it’ll definitely have a beach.
Where would you go on your fantasy vacation?
