PEORIA, Ill. – Workers at one Peoria Starbucks location have officially joined the wave of others across the country voting to unionize.
Workers at the Campustown Starbucks voted Tuesday 9-2 to become a union — giving them the right to collectively bargain.
Officials say another Starbucks in the Chicago suburb of Cary also voted to unionize.
Campustown Starbucks workers began the unionization effort in February.
