“Drinking Song About Sleigh Racing!”

“Bells on bob tail ring, making Spirits bright, what fun it is to ride and sing, a sleighing song tonight!” WOW after all these years I’ve never looked into the meaning of this song til now. Jingle Bells is a BIG SLEIGH RACE!” There just isn’t much Christmas in the song “Jingle Bells.” In fact the word Christmas, Santa Claus or anything else holiday related isn’t included in the song at all.
