PEKIN, Ill. — A two-vehicle crash in Pekin Tuesday night sent seven people to local hospitals.
News partner 25 News says some of the injured were children. Pekin Fire Department used the “Jaws of Life” to free one of the occupants from the wreck.
Battalion Chief John Turner did not release the condition of those who were injured in the crash reported around 8 p.m. at 14th Street and Veterans Drive.
Ambulances from AMT, Tremont, and Morton were called to the scene.
Pekin Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
