PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has indicted a teenager on a murder charge in connection to a fatal shooting on the East Bluff last year.
16-year-old Robert Mister was indicted on one count of First Degree Murder on Tuesday.
Mister is accused in the December 22nd shooting death of 39-year-old James Miller.
Prosecutors say Mister was angry because someone had stolen his AirPods and that Mister allegedly was stealing people’s phones.
Miller reportedly would not let him leave the house until he returned a pair of AirPods.
A witness claimed that Mister was allegedly standing over Miller after shooting him in the head.
