PEORIA, Ill. – The final Greater Peoria Honor Flight of the year is taking off for Washington, D.C. Tuesday morning.
Local veterans and their guardians are set to leave Peoria International Airport around 6:30 a.m., headed to D.C, where they will tour all of the war memorials and monuments.
The Honor Flight is expected back in Peoria Tuesday night around 9:30. The community is encouraged to welcome the veterans back at PIA. Shuttles will be available starting at 8 p.m.
