PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – A man is dead after a truck vs. motorcycle crash Sunday in Peoria County.
The Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at Parks School Road and Elliot Road, northeast of Brimfield, around 4:20 p.m.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood identifies the victim as William Dean, 64, of Chillicothe. He was pronounced dead at a hospital about 40 minutes after the crash.
Harwood says an autopsy shows the cause of death being multiple blunt force injuries.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation..

PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – A 64-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Peoria County.
Sheriff Chris Watkins says the accident happened around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Parks School Road and Elliot Road, involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The motorcyclist will be identified by the Peoria County Coroner.
