...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency in Springfield has
issued an Air Quality Alert in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. The
general public is not likely to be affected.

Active children and adults, especially people with pulmonary or
respiratory disease such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor
activity. Area residents are urged to reduce pollution levels. Air
quality forecasts and tips on how you can reduce your emissions can
be found at www.airnow.gov. For additional information, please visit
