PEKIN, Ill. – A Mackinaw teen being charged as an adult after allegedly hiring other teens to kill her parents is pleading not guilty.
Dahlia Bolin, 16, has pleaded not guilty in Tazewell County Court to counts of First-Degree Murder, and Attempted First-Degree Murder, now that a Tazewell County grand jury indicted her last week.
The alleged murder-for-hire plot resulted in the death of Rebecca Bolin, 51, and the injury of Douglas Bolin, 52, in October of 2021.
Douglas Bolin, 25 News reports, reportedly posted the ten percent of $1 million bond to keep Dahlia Bolin out of custody.
Sage Rauber, 21, Nathaniel Maloney, 19, and Andre Street, 18, also face murder charges and are still jailed.
Dahlia Bolin will be back in court June first.
