PEORIA, Ill. – New faces are coming to boards and councils in Bartonville and Metamora.
Newcomer Shawn Zachman won a two-year term to the Bartonville Village Board, while Nate Woosley won a four-year term. Incumbents Heidi Rhea and Tim Carroll won re-election, while Fred Liebach IV fell short of winning another term.
Five candidates fought for three four-year seats on the Limestone 310 Board.
Danielle Harris won re-election, with newcomers Rachel Fehl and Matt Johnson won seats.
Shannen Meyers lost a re-election bid for a two-year term on the Walters 316 Board to Casey Ehlers.
There was turnover to school boards in Metamora.
Paul and Melissa Heil lost re-election bids to the high school board while Stefanie McAllister won another term. Newcomers Zach Taylor and Deb Russell won seats.
Incumbent Mary Schierer won re-election to the Metamora CCSD Board along with new faces Trent Yoder and Jared Frye. Marilyn Roley lost a re-election bid in that district.
The three candidates running for re-election to the village trustee board all won. They are William Nauman, Merle Weyeneth, and Darin Alig. Lucas Schierer lost his bid to unseat an incumbent.
