Peoria, Ill — Authorities say a violent note scrawled in a middle school bathroom in Canton — is not a credible threat.
It’s the latest since the discovery was made earlier this afternoon.
According to a Facebook post by officials at Ingersol Middle School, the threat included the specific date and time — December 14th (Tuesday) — 1 p.m.
At this time, this threat is not considered credible and no weapons have been found.
Officials said they planned to bring an increased police presence to the school in the coming days as a result of the incident.
