EAST PEORIA, Ill. — East Peoria fire and police departments responded around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to a fire at Jim Hawk Truck Trailers.
Upon arrival, fire crews found two semi trucks fully involved and a third and fourth truck partially involved.
The two trucks fully involved were destroyed by fire, the third truck suffered damage to the drivers side of the vehicle, and the fourth truck suffered damage on the top of the cab.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation is unknown at this time. Severe storms swept through the area Saturday evening, and fire crews said they will not know what the cause of the fire is until they have more time to investigate the scene.
