“He would have turned 77 today” . . .

My friends he was born under the name John Winston Lennon October  9th, 1940 and sadly gunned down by a mad man December 8th, of 1980. John Lennon was an English singer, songwriter, musician, and a Beatle. Probably one of the most commercially successful and musically influential bands in the history of music. After the Beatles parted ways John Lennon also had a great solo career. There are so many likeable songs that John put out over the years and one of my favorites is “Watching The Wheels” off of his Double Fantasy album. I was young when John Lennon died but grew up knowing from my parents who the Beatles were from my parents era and as time rolled on his career moving into the late 70’s of the music he brought us. Not to go on and on, I just wanted to share that today the late John Lennon would have turned 77 years young. May his music continue to live on and “Happy Birthday” John.
