To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Sales and marketing college degree preferred or equivalent. At a minimum two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of the two. Possess the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and other general mathematical principles. Valid driver’s license. Position requires the employee to work at the computer on average of 15% of the time. This position also requires the employee to travel in a vehicle up to 65% of the time. Assistant Promotions Manager
JMP Radio Group has an immediate opening for an Assistant Promotions Manager. This position is responsible for the planning, design and execution of certain station on-air and sales promotions and events. This individual will be an integral part of both the programming and the sales teams and must be proficient in multi-tasking. Applicants should be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and ideally would possess strong skills in Power Point, Photoshop, Publisher and data base programs. Knowledge in website maintenance is also helpful. Qualified applicants should be detail oriented, organized and a team player. Previous media experience and a technical background preferred, but not required. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing to work flexible hours, with some nights and regular weekend work required. The Digital Marketing Specialist is first and foremost a sales position. Job duties are as follows:
• Cold calling/prospecting new business every day with information about Xapsis Integrated Marketing services and products.
• Setting sales appointments • Hitting monthly revenue goals in new contracts and by extension recognized revenue
• Facilitating marketing strategy sessions with new clients
• Working with the company Director of Client Services to keep clients updated on the progress of theirprojects that are in production
• Participating in concept meetings with clients to help determine the design direction of the project
• Contributing to the development of the sales process through communication with the managing director
• Any other duties as required and assigned by the Xapsis Integrated Marketing managing director for the growth and strengthening of the Xapsis office.
