BUZZ : He's been one of the world's most eligible bachelors - and had vowed for decades that he wouldn't take the plunge again. All of that's all over for George Clooney. The actor and human rights lawyer Alma Alamuddin tied the knot in Venice, Italy, over the weekend. The ceremony took place in a luxury hotel. Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon, Bill Murray were among the celebrity guests spotted in Venice.

BILL and HILLARY CLINTON became grandparents on Friday evening. Their daughter CHELSEA CLINTON gave birth to a baby girl named Charlotte.  This is the first child for her and her husband Marc.

Hundreds of people attended a private memorial for ROBIN WILLIAMS Saturday at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. BILLY CRYSTALWHOOPI GOLDBERG and Robin's "Jumanji" co-star BONNIE HUNT gave speeches.  A source says Crystal was "in tears" during his.  Robin's three kids also spoke.

John Mellencamp is not saying whether he's split with Meg Ryan or not, only that he's really enjoyed their time together. Mellencamp and Ryan dated for three years, and some reports say they've broken up. Mellencamp will say he's very happy with the time he's spent with her. He says Ryan is "a beautiful girl and I know that I will never, ever, ever be with a funnier girl than her." When asked if it was over, Mellencamp said, "Nothing's over. I never say die for anything. Do you ever quit on anything?" A photo Ryan took appears on Mellencamp's new album, "Plain Spoken," out now.
